It is built for thick undercoats and double coats, like Golden Retrievers, German Shepherds, and Huskies, where loose hair hides below the surface. It also works on most medium coats. Very short, single-coated dogs may only need a soft brush.

Instead of a single rigid blade, the GroomRaker uses patented flexible fingers that follow the curves of your dog's body. That makes it comfortable over bony areas and effective on thick coats, without the harsh scrape some blade tools can have.

A simple flick empties most of the collected hair. For a deeper clean, rinse or wash the head with warm soapy water and let it air dry.
