Safety is at the core of everything we do.

At PetKORE, every product is designed to support safe, healthy play — and choosing the right size plays a big role in that. A toy that’s too small can pose a safety risk, while the right size builds confidence, encourages engagement, and ensures a safe, enriching experience.

Weight-Based Sizing

Our Medium toys are recommended for dogs up to 30 lb, and our Large toys are best for dogs over 30 lb. However, every dog is different — breed, jaw shape, and play style all matter. When in doubt, go with the safer option.

Understanding the Safety Zone

A properly sized toy should never be able to pass your dog’s rear molars — this is the “safety zone.” If a toy can slide past those back teeth, it can become a serious choking hazard. The Large Flotek Ball is about 5mm bigger than the average large dog ball — a deliberate design choice to keep the toy from reaching the throat during play.

When in Doubt, Size Up

We always recommend going up a size if you're unsure. Most small dogs can still enjoy a Medium toy safely, and sizing up keeps the toy in the safety zone.

For Multi-Dog Households

Choose the size that fits your largest dog. Toys safe for your biggest pup are still fun for smaller dogs — and help prevent accidents from size mismatches.

Look for Size Guidance on Each Product Page

Every PetKORE product page includes detailed sizing info and key features to help you choose with confidence. Still unsure? Reach out to our team — we’re happy to help with personalized recommendations based on your dog’s breed, size, and play style.
